10 Problems All High Maintenance Girls Will Understand.

So high maintenance girls get a bit of a bad rep, but it’s not so bad to want to be a princess and demand everyone around you to treat you like one.

Of course this article is just in jest… But I guess there’s a little truth behind each one!

1) White bed sheets are a major risk.

Extra sheets are a must on tan days. It’s probably wise that boyfriends opt for darker sheets too…

2) Washing up is not an option.

Hot water, bubbles and a fresh manicure don’t mix well. Not to mention the panic attack when something touches your finger.

3) We leave a trail of hair everywhere we go.

Plug holes, clean laundry, beds, carpets…. You name it.

4) We require a seat everywhere.

Bars, packed tubes, nightclubs…

5) The bedtime routine.

We need at least an hour for all of our cleansing, serums, oils, creams, lotions etc…

6) Having to approve every group photo.

If it’s not up to scratch, you will delete it.

7) Baggage limitations are the enemy.

A girl needs choice! At least 3 outfits per night should suffice. Maybe.

8) Shopping is a full day event.

In girl world ‘straight in, straight out’ is not an option. We have to look at every item in every shop.

9) If we want something, we need it. Now.

That chocolate bar, lipstick, cute pair of shoes…… Baaaaaaaabe? *queue puppy dog eyes*

10) We’re always late.

It’s become so expected that we’re often given a time 30 minutes before we actually need to get there. And we’re still late. (Winged eyeliner doesn’t just happen naturally.
If any of these secretly remind you of yourself, why not give it a share?

Rosie for Autograph

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will forever be one of my all-time favourite supermodels. She is such a natural beauty and oozes elegance and femininity.

“The concept behind my new collection is luxurious, feminine smoothing lingerie. These pieces are are using the softest microfibres, they’re ultra smooth and slinky, with French designed lace and silk trims to add a touch of luxury. The clever multiway straps on each bra means you can wear them with many different outfits. Create a perfectly smooth silhouette.” Rosie.

I was browsing M&S yesterday when my friend and I noticed the Rosie for Autograph collection, with its delicate silks and lace and subtle dusky tones mixed with beautiful florals. I picked up three bra’s which you won’t believe we’re just £3.99 each reduced from £25! Here’s the ones I chose:

I love this delicate silk and lace non-padded balcony. It remains feminine and pretty, despite the glam black lace trim.

This dusky pink garment is the same as the one above, but in a girly soft pink which makes it all the more girly and pretty.

The final bra I picked up was this duck egg blue plunge with a subtle white print and Rosie’s signature lace.

The collection seems to be a small fit with the ones I’ve tried, so take a few sizes into the changing rooms and see what fits best. Rosie wasn’t wrong when she said these are very smoothing and slinky. They’re by no means push-up but they drape over your skin beautifully and feel so feminine. I’d definitely recommend running down to your local M&S store to see if you can grab any bargains, but I’d be equally as happy personally to purchase at full price.

On a final note – Rosie retweeted me! ❤

MAC lips.

Good morning lovelies! I’m shopping this weekend so I’ve been browsing blogs and online for what treats I should buy. I’m a massive lipstick fan and always more than happy to add to my collection that’s almost exclusively MAC. They’ve always been my favourite – relatively inexpensive, amazing range of colours, good range of textures (matte/glossy etc). I always tend to go for really similar ones. I have so many light pinky shades and a whole load of nudes and only one bold red.

On a recent Selfridges trip, I was browsing the current MAC is Beauty collection and fell in love with pretty much the whole lipstick collection. I swatched a few on my hand and noticed they are much more glossy than the regular MAC lipsticks, but still have a really full colour. This is so ideal for me because I can sometimes get quite dry lips from some of my lipsticks but I love a really full coverage of colour. Long story short – I couldn’t choose which I liked best so I didn’t get any! But I will definitely be purchasing this weekend since I’ve narrowed it down to two now!

You can see why I want them all! Notice Me perhaps isn’t as wearable for me as the others but it’s still undeniably pretty. I’ve narrowed my choices down to Real Redhead and Highlights because my all time fav MAC lipstick is Freckle Tone and I feel like these mixed would be quite similar to this. Honestly though, the more I look at this, the more I want French Twist and Pure Vanity too…. Did it mention it’s my birthday coming up…..?
I stumbled across another thing that excited me recently…. Yep – more lipsticks!

This new MAC collection is rumoured to launch July 9th and I think it’s just genius. I store my lipsticks in a clear Perspex lipstick organiser and since they all look exactly the same, I have the effort of looking at the bottom of each one to find which I want. With these little babies, the outside is exactly the same as the outside so you can just grab the one you want and head out! They are matte which doesn’t sit well on a lot of people’s lips (mine included) but I’m hoping a bit of Vaseline can sort this out because I loveeeee all of them.
Let me know your favourite lipsticks and any other brands you can recommend! Do you have any of these lipsticks?
