Rat and Boa ‘Confessions of a Wildflower’ S/S17 Collection.

Rat and Boa are due to launch their latest S/S Collection next week – ‘Confessions of a Wildflower’. No doubt it’ll be another sell-out collection, with fashionista fans setting their alarms to get their hands on everything they can fit in their basket.

“The collection features luxurious fabrics, feminine details, and a hint of decadence”

I love how Rat and Boa have gone more feminine with this collection, the florals and grills and delicate fabrics are beautiful and perfect for summer evenings.

We’ve had a sneak peak on Instagram and I LOVE it. The styling and backdrops of the images makes it all the more amazing for me.

The last 4 images are my favourites from the collection, but I really love all of the pieces.

Will you be setting your alarm to get your hands on any of these garments? Which is your favourite?

Graduation Ball: Fashion and Makeup.

Hey everyone! On Friday I OFFICIALLY finished university for good! It’s been three long, hard years but I’ve finally completed my BA (Hons) Events Management degree so I can properly get into this blogging business and finally work full time as a model!

Last night was the graduation ball for the Hollings Facilty of MMU so there was people from a few different courses, all coming together for a brilliant event! (As assumed when we’re events students!). It was held at The Hilton in Deansgate, Manchester. I LOVE this hotel, I spent New Year’s Eve there not long ago and go for afternoon tea in Cloud23 which is up on the 23rd floor where you can sit and see out over Manchester whilst you sip champagne.

I decided to have my makeup done at the Chanel counter for a change, which was especially appealing as they were doing it for £10 instead of £45 for a limited time, then of course you receive this back off any purchase. (I will review my purchase in a separate post!)

I like quite a natural, warm look so I had a nice fresh skin base, with some bronze contouring and a dab of blush. I had a light bronze smokey eye and delicate liquid eyeliner on the top. The look was finished with a nude lip, lightly defined brow and a slick of black mascara. (I should just point out I’m not naked on this picture, as you’ll see from my next pictures!).

I really struggled to find a dress that I fell in love with, then I stumbled across one when I was just browsing Google…. The ‘Oman’ from Celebrity Boutique was just The One as soon as I saw it. It comes with a bit of a price tag – coming in at £119 but the quality is just superb.

My dress arrived beautifully packaged in a pink box tied with black elastic. Inside, white tissue was delicately folded around the garment and I just couldn’t wait to open it up!

It fit absoloutly beautifully (I got a size XS) and I could feel it sculpting my figure in particular places like around my waist. The fabric is thick and shiny and the dress it’s self was heavy, which to me is an indicator of quality with bodycon styles like this. It also has a thin rubber lining around the top which reacts with your skin texture to stop the dress from slipping.

I teamed my CB dress with my favourite nude Rhianna River Island heels and a nude clutch and kept my jewellery simple with a white Olivia Burton watch, gold Swarovski ring and Carat London gold bracelet. My hair was simple and slicked back to show off my makeup.

You can purchase this dress from House of CB  and I would say, it’s worth every penny!

The hospitality at The Hilton was wonderful as ever, and I had a great time celebrating with my friends and course mates, with the wine and prosseco flowing ! Congratulations to MMU Events Management Graduates.

A few snaps from the night!
